Introduction

My name is Caleb Herzog; I am a musician from Cincinnati, Ohio who has been involved with music since the 3rd grade since I started playing the guitar.  Currently, I am a Music Education major with a primary on the flute, but I hope to pick up many new instruments while I'm in school - particularly I would like to learn to become proficient in a brass instrument like trumpet or trombone.  Other than my interest in music, I also love to read when I can or watch movies and tv shows - especially early horror movies from the 80s or 90s.  Alongside these interests, I am always happy to learn new things and build my knowledge on any and every topic.  English class in high school was one of my favorites because of how my teacher would run the class.  He would leave us to ourselves to learn and explore our writing skills.

When it comes to my writing, I believe that I still have a long way to go before I find myself in a place where I am happy with how I begin my writing and edit my work.  I find it easy to start writing when I get going, but I never know when I am done.  I often go back to a paper of mine, read it over completely, and revise it until the day it needs to be submitted.  While revision is good, I never know if my writing is truly done or if there is something I need to delete, change, or add to complete my thoughts.
